Berthjan Achterop is a passionate designer from Groningen, a city up north in the Netherlands. Ever since he was a young kid he was interested in art/designs. He started out drawing comics and later on, because of his interest for art/design, he went to study Communication and Multimedia Design in Leeuwarden which he passed in 2007. After that he got a job as a corporate webdesigner in Groningen at a big internet agency named TFE.

After almost 4 years of working for TFE, he decided to start for himself. With 4 years of agency experience and his passion for graphic design, Berthjan and two friends started an agency for online marketing and creation.Besides designing he enjoys spending time on illustration. He does this within artgroups like evoke and intrinsic nature.
His artwork has been featured many times in Advanced Photoshop in the UK, Germany, Australia and the Netherlands.
